WEEK 11

     

      This week was very interesting because we apply our lesson plan into a practice.Unfortunately sometimes the thing do not work as we want. My group had some problems because the internet did not work so, we have to improve,but this thing  not only happened to my group others groups hae  others problems too.

      On the other hand, I think that apply a lesson plan was easy but I could noticed that we have to be well prepared if we want to achieve all the objectives that we have. Also, we have to as a model who set up the situation because i noticed that in this demo class  sometimes students got bored or did not want to cooperate.

      Furthermore, I think this was very helpful for us because we as future teachers must be ready to teach so we have to do many demo classes if we want to improve ourselves as teachers.Also, we have to study harder in order to do these things better

WEEK 10

            This week the teacher review us our lesson plan, she gave us some advices and suggestion to improved it. For example she told us that we have to use the ABCD method to write our objectives, also she told us that we have to be specifics with the procedures that we made, we have to write all the information.

     

     Also, she said that we have to start working in our Micro-Project because this is the final exam so we have to do the make effort on that. she told us that we have to make an interactive Power Point Presentation. This is the only thing that we have to do because the teacher wanted that we concentrated in that task.

     Finally, for the next week we have to do this Micro-Project using the lesson plan that we have presented her before and the Power Point Presentation. i think that is very useful for us because we have to start applying all the knowledge that we have into a practice

WEEK 9

    

        In this week the teacher told us that we have to improve our  power Point Presentation because we did not follow the steps that the teacher told us before and if we want to improve our grade we have to do it.

  

      Also,we review the homework that the teacher had sent us about the Lesson Plan. The teacher taught us more information about how to make a good Lesson Plan. For example our objectives must be clearly,also we have to write our procedures in a organized way, we have to start with a warm-up, then we have to do the activities class.then we have to gave the students an assessment that reforced what we are teaching and finally the homework must be related with what students learned.

    

 Finally the teacher show us an Interactive Power Point Presentation, she said that it will be very necessary for us because we have to do a micro-project using it.Also the teacher  told us that we have to make a lesson plan in groups of three applying all the information that the teacher gave us, also we have to start working of the micro-project

WEEK 8

    In this week some partners and me  had to present the power Point Presentation that the the teacher told us the last class. I presented about how to teach reading what I have noticed is that the most important think in order to teach any skill  is to know about the stages. For example in reading we have four stages that are Pre-Reading, While-Reading and Post-Reading, in writing we have other stages such us: Planing,  Drafting, Revising, Editing and for the other skills with have something similar. In my opinion these presentation will help me a lot in my future life because now I know how to teach all the skills in an easy way.

     Also this week the teacher provided us information about how to make a good Lesson Plan, the teacher said what the lesson plan is, why the lesson plan is important, also how to make a good Lesson Plan. this information was very important for me because now I know the importance of the Lesson Plan and how to make it depending the level of the learners.

     Finally the teacher gave  us an example of lesson Plan we have to answer some question for example is the Lesson Plan OK?, is the objectives good? and so on in order to know if we comprehended the topic, because we us future teachers must dominated how to make an excellent Lesson Plan. WEEK 7

     

     This week was very interesting because i learned a lot important and useful things that I as a future must know. The first think that learn was how to make a really good Power Point Presentation and the second useful thing was a presentation about how to teach listening

     First, the most important thing that  you have to take into count is that we have to only put key words in the presentation not complete phrases because in order to catch the students attention.Also we do not have to put many effect because it does not look professional and finally we do not have to put a lot imagines because students wont put attention to the presentation they will be entertained with the pictures.

     On the other hand the teacher shows us a Power Point Presentation in which we can noticed how to teach listening. Also , she gave us a web page in order to help us to develop our listening g skills and in that web page we can see the stages of the listening which are Pre- Listening, While-Listening and Post-listening and what we have to do in each stage.

 

     Finally the teacher told us that we have to do a Power point Presentation about one of the skills that are: listening, speaking, writing or reading. We have to make our best effort and apply what the teacher said about how to make a good Power Point Presentation

WEEK 6

     

    
     This week was very interesting because the teachers presented us a Power Point Presentation about Effective use of Technology in EFL classroom. It was very useful because they told us the importance of using technology in the class in order to teach in a different way and have more interaction with the students.

     The teachers show us different technology tools that we can use in order to improve our students' learning, for me the most important was EDMODO because using this program  we can not only have more interaction with the students but also we can send them homework, tasks, assessments and so on, either the teacher was not in the class.

     On the other hand the teachers show us some web pages in order to improve our listening and oral skills and to develop the speaking and reading skills. In think that these pages will be useful not only for us but also for people who want to develop their skills and improve their language.

      Finally, the teachers told us that we have to wrote our comments about the presentation. As I said before I think that this will help me a lot in the future because i will use technology to make my classes more interactive and teach in a different way

WEEK 5

          

         In this week I learn how to use a new program it is Dropbox. This program  is a free service that lets you bring all your photos, docs, and videos anywhere. This means that any file you save to your Dropbox will automatically save to all your computers, phones and even the Dropbox website.it is very useful in order to keep all the necessary information that I can need later.

     On the other hand I read about UNESCO ICT Competency Framework for Teachers. In my opinion this information is helpful for me because now I know the importance of using technology in classes and I us a future teacher must dominate the technology if I want to improve my students' learning and if I want to be a different and innovate teacher. Also, I have to participate in the Diigo forum about the ICT in order to share my opinion about this topic.

     For the next class the teacher said that students have to prepared a Power Point Presentation about UNESCO ICT, we have to read all the information of this page: http://www.unesco.org/new/en/unesco/themes/icts/teacher-education/unesco-ict-competency-framework-for-teachers/ so the teacher will notice if we understand the main idea of this important topic.

WEEK 4

     In this week we learn about Diigo but what is it? Diigo is an important and useful tool that will help us in order to bookmarking a web site it means that we can keep all the pages that we want  in this account, also i can highlight the most important information of the page.

     The teacher show us how to create and account it was very simple because the only thing that i had to do is follow the steps is similar to account in other pages. Also, the teacher learned how to have organised it, i could have this account organised in folder in order to facilitate me find the page easily

     Furthermore,  for the next class I have to find thirty important web sites about speaking, reading, listening, methodology writing six pages for each one, but the teacher said that we have to find good pages because now we know which are good pages.

WEEK 3

          In this week the teacher took us the first quiz. It was about Evaluating web Sites, the quiz was different to others because now the teacher use a useful program its name is Hot Potatoes in which we have to choose the correct response. In my opinion I think that this program help us a lot because we have to think a lot because the three the answers are similar, so we can get confused  

     After that, we started with a new topic it was Plagiarism. the teacher gave us some web pages in which we can find important information to avoid plagiarism here I have some of the pages http://www.pvc.maricopa.edu/researchhelp/plagiarism.html ;  http://www.plagiarism.org/ , with this pages we have to answers some questions such as: what is citing?, Why citing is important?, What is quote? And so on. Then we have to upload our answers to the Discussion Forum.

     Then, for the next class we are going to view about the APA Style what is avoid how to avoid Plagiarism why we have to mention the author, why we have to quote, and how we have to do it so the teacher ask some volunteers in order to give a Power Point Presentation but all us have to do it because we have to know the basic things about APA Style, also we have to upload our Presentation to the Forum. i an find a useful web page with the necessary information about APA Style http://www.libraries.psu.edu/psul/lls/students/apa_citation.html
